The plastic mouthpiece for the Kiwi Vapor allows more air to pass through than the cotton filters, allowing the flavor (aroma) of the liquid to come through better and develop a sweet taste. In contrast to the cotton filters, the plastic mouthpiece allows some liquid to pass through. This results in the vapor being "moister". This gives a pleasant mouthfeel. As you don't replace the mouthpiece unless you lose it, you can rinse it out every 2-3 days with lukewarm water to keep it hygienically clean. Please do not use boiling hot water! This could cause the plastic to expand and the mouthpiece may no longer fit into the device!
