Nicotine

Nicotine – the evil poison?
To accurately reflect the current scientific understanding of nicotine, we reference an excerpt from a publication by Professor Bernd Meyer.
The commonly repeated claim:
Nicotine is a highly potent neurotoxin and addictive substance that damages the heart and blood vessels.
At typical consumption levels (vaping or smoking), nicotine mimics the action of a naturally occurring neurotransmitter (acetylcholine). This activates nerve cells in the brain and the autonomic nervous system.
The actual neurotoxic effect — the blocking of nerve cell function — only occurs in cases of massive overdose. Such doses are not reached through inhalation.
Highly potent neurotoxins are not available over the counter in pharmacies.
Why smokers become dependent:
Nicotine dependence results from a combination of nicotine, other toxic substances in tobacco smoke, and conditioned behavior known as the “smoking ritual”.
Without tobacco smoke, the addictive potential of nicotine is very low. Most vapers therefore experience significantly less craving than smokers.
Smokers do not die from nicotine addiction itself, but from the harmful components of tobacco smoke.
Cardiovascular effects:
Nicotine — similar to caffeine — may cause a slight increase in heart rate and blood pressure. These effects are considered clinically harmless.
Current scientific data shows that nicotine does not increase the risk of heart attack, stroke, or mortality.
Individuals with severe cardiovascular disease should refrain from nicotine consumption.

Ordering nicotine made easy
Legal notice:
Nicotine-containing e-liquids may legally be sold throughout the EU and Switzerland.
Nicotine is permitted only in 10 ml bottles with a maximum concentration of 20 mg/ml.
Most e-liquids are prepared for the use of nicotine shots and therefore contain empty space in the bottle. These shots are typically flavorless.
Example:
Bottle size: 60 ml
Liquid content: 50 ml
Space for one nicotine shot
Adding a 20 mg/ml shot results in approximately 3 mg/ml nicotine strength. If this is sufficient, you can find suitable shots here:

For mouth-to-lung (MTL) vapers, nicotine strengths of 6–8 mg/ml are common. These levels are difficult to achieve using shots alone due to excessive dilution.
Solution:
Use nicotine concentrate.
Nicotine concentrate can be legally ordered online by private individuals and delivered directly to their home.
Typical delivery time is under 5 days when using DHL.
Tips for a smooth order:
- Maximum 150 ml per order
- Choose PG-based nicotine (thinner and easier to handle than VG)
- Do not add other products to the order (faster Swiss customs processing)
- Select DHL Express as the shipping provider
